BCU WR Marcus Riley Transfers To Florida A&M
Former Bethune-Cookman wide receiver Marcus Riley announced his commitment to Florida A&M. Riley will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Rattlers.
Riley earned second-team All-SWAC honors from Phil Steele in 2022. He finished the season with 39 receptions for 563 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He caught a pass in all 11 games this season for the Wildcats. Over three seasons, Riley totaled 74 receptions for 995 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
Riley signed with the Wildcats as a four-star prospect out of Rickards High School. He was a two-time All-State selection and ended his career with 3,500 passing yards.
Grambling WR Claude Coleman Transfers To UAPB
Former Grambling State wide receiver Claude Coleman announced his commitment to Arkansas Pine-Bluff. Coleman will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Golden Lions.
Coleman finished the 2022 season with 13 receptions for 237 receiving yards and one touchdown. He set a new career-high with five receptions for 72 yards against Bethune-Cookman.
He signed with Grambling State in 2021 out of Baker High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Northwestern State LB Josh Clarke Transfers To JSU
Former Northwestern State linebacker Josh Clarke announced his transfer to Jackson State. Clarke will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Tigers.
Over three seasons at Northwestern State, Clarke totaled 17 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. He committed to Northwestern State after playing one season at Holmes Community College.
He signed with Ole Miss as a four-star recruit in the class of 2017. Clarke ranked as the No. 12 player in the state of Louisiana and the No. 18 linebacker in the country. He finished his senior season with 118 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, six sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception.
TSU QB Heath Williams Jr. Enters Transfer Portal
Tennessee State quarterback Heath Williams Jr. announced his entry into the transfer portal on Wednesday. He will have two years of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.
He spent four seasons at Tennessee State and served as the holder on special teams. He redshirted as a true freshman in 2019 with only action coming against Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
Williams signed with the Tigers out of Northeast High School in 2019. He finished his prep career with over 4,000 yards and 46 touchdowns.
