ODU OL Caron McNair Transfers To Holy Cross
Former Old Dominion offensive lineman Caron McNair announced his commitment to Holy Cross. He will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Crusaders.
McNair redshirted for the Monarchs last season during his true freshman season. He signed with Old Dominion as a three-star prospect of Donovan Catholic High School.
McNair was ranked as the No. 42 player in the state of New Jersey in the class of 2022. He earned first-team All-State honors as an offensive lineman and finished his senior season with 48 total tackles on the defensive side of the ball.
Syracuse QB JaCobian Morgan Commits To JSU
Former Syracuse quarterback JaCobian Morgan announced his commitment to Jackson State on Thursday. Morgan will have three years of eligibility remaining for the Tigers.
Morgan became the seventh true freshman to start a game in Syracuse school history in 2020. He recorded 288 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and two interceptions over six games at Syracuse.
Morgan signed with Syracuse as a three-star prospect out of Canton High School in 2020. He ranked as the No. 56 overall prospect in the state of Mississippi, according to 247Sports. He finished his senior season with 2,487 passing yards and 30 total touchdowns.
Virginia Tech RB Kenji Christian Transfers To NCAT
Former Virginia Tech running back Kenji Christian announced his commitment to North Carolina A&T. He will have three years of eligibility remaining for the Aggies.
Christian redshirted for the Hokies as a true freshman and did not see action in the 2022 season. He signed with the Hokies as a three-prospect out of Pinson Valley High School in Pinson, Alabama.
Christian was the No. 26 player in the state of Alabama in the class of 2021. He helped lead Pinson Valley to the Alabama 6A state championship his senior season. He finished his junior season with 451 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
Ole Miss QB Kinkead Dent Commits To UT Martin
Former Ole Miss quarterback Kinkead Dent announced his commitment to UT Martin on Thursday. He will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Skyhawks.
Dent saw action in 17 games for the Rebels, primarily as the holder on special teams. He signed with the Rebels as a three-star prospect out of Jackson Academy in Flowood, Mississippi.
Dent was the No. 1 pro-style quarterback in the state of Mississippi in the class of 2019. He earned MAIS first-team All-State honors as a senior after totaling 1,365 passing yards, 909 rushing yards, and 26 total touchdowns.
