UIW DL Jordan Bussey Transfers To MVSU
Former Incarnate Word defensive lineman Jordan Bussey announced his commitment to Mississippi Valley State. Bussey will have two years of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Delta Devils.
Bussey saw action in six games last season as the Cardinals won the Southland Conference championship. He finished the season with six total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack.
Bussey won two consecutive conference championships at Incarnate Word in 2021-22. He will be an integral piece for first-year head coach Kendrick Wade over the next two seasons.
QB Clifton McDowell Flips Commitment To Montana
Former Central Arkansas quarterback Clifton McDowell announced his commitment to Montana. He initially committed to Southern on Apr. 30, but de-committed on May 12 and announced his transfer to Montana two days later. He will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Griz.
McDowell played one season at Central Arkansas after playing the 2021 season at Kilgore College. He started his career at Louisiana-Lafayette and played two seasons before announcing his transfer.
In high school, McDowell was named the 16-6A District MVP as a senior after totaling 1,820 passing yards, 1,330 rushing yards and 37 total touchdowns. He was a three-star recruit according to 247Sports.
Former Utah WR Chris Reed Commits To FAMU
Former Utah wide receiver Chris Reed announced his commitment to Florida A&M. Reed will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Rattlers.
Reed saw action in three games for the Utes as a true freshman last season.
As a high school recruit, Reed was a three-star prospect out of Wekiva High School. He totaled 41 receptions, 625 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns, and averaged 15.2 yards per reception. Reed was invited to the 2022 Elite 100 Central Florida Senior Bowl.
Former CSU WR Ky Oday Transfers To SDSU
Former Colorado State wide receiver Ky Oday announced his commitment to South Dakota State on Monday. He will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Jackrabbits.
Oday redshirted at Colorado State after missing the season due to an ankle injury.
Oday signed with Colorado State as a three-star prospect in the class of 2022. As a senior, Oday totaled 31 receptions for 578 receiving yards, seven touchdowns, and 18.6 yards per reception. He was the No. 14 player in the state of Colorado, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
