Jackson State LB Nyles Gaddy Enters Transfer Portal
Jackson State linebacker Nyles Gaddy announced his entry into the transfer on Sunday. Gaddy is a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
Gaddy earned SWAC first-team All-Conference honors last season. He set new career-highs against Tennessee State with four tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. Over two seasons at Jackson State, Gaddy totaled 74 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, five pass breakups and two forced fumbles.
He started his career at Tennessee before transferring to Jackson State prior to the 2021 season. He signed with the Vols out of Father Ryan High School.
UIW DL Darius Richmond Transfers To Austin Peay
Former Incarnate Word defensive lineman Darius Richmond announced his transfer to Austin Peay on Sunday. He will have one year of eligibility remaining for the Governors.
Richmond saw action in 43 games over four seasons for the Cardinals. He finished his career at Incarnate Word with 82 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, two sacks and one pass breakup.
Richmond signed with Incarnate Word out of Oak Ridge High School and was a two-time All-District selection.

Former UCA QB Clifton McDowell Transfers To Southern
Former Central Arkansas quarterback Clifton McDowell announced his commitment to Southern on Sunday. McDowell will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Jaguars.
McDowell played one season at Central Arkansas after playing the 2021 season at Kilgore College. He started his career at Louisiana-Lafayette and played two seasons before announcing his transfer.
In high school, McDowell was named the 16-6A District MVP as a senior after totaling 1,820 passing yards, 1,330 rushing yards and 37 total touchdowns. He was a three-star recruit according to 247Sports.

Montana State RB Isaiah Ifanse Enters Transfer Portal
Former Montana State running back Isaiah Ifanse announced his entry into the transfer portal last week. Ifanse initially committed to San Jose State earlier this year.
Ifanse finished his career at Montana State as the all-time leading rusher with 3,742 rushing yards. He also set the single-season record in 2021 with 1,623 rushing yards and earned second-team FCS All-American honors. He was the first All-American running back for the Bobcats since 1982. Ifanse also is tied for the all-time school record for 100-yard games with 17 over his four seasons.
Ifanse will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.
