UCF WR Quan Lee Commits To Florida A&M
Former UCF wide receiver Quan Lee announced his commitment to Florida A&M. He will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Rattlers.
Lee redshirted for the Knights last season as a true freshman. He signed with UCF as a four-star prospect in the class of 2022. He was the No. 221 overall prospect and No. 25 player in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports.
Lee finished his high school career as the all-time leading wide receiver in Alachua County history. He finished his senior season with 928 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He earned first-team 7A All-State and All-Area honors as a junior.
All-American Devin Cowan Commits To Southern Illinois
Former Fayetteville State defensive end Devin Cowan announced his commitment to Southern Illinois. He will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Salukis.
Cowan earned first-team CIAA All-Conference and HBCU All-American honors in 2022. He finished the season with 60 total tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. He helped lead Fayetteville State to the CIAA conference championship with a 31-28 win over Chowan.
Cowan had a career game against Cowan on Sept. 29 with 10 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He finished the 2021 season with 29 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.
North Dakota State Lands JUCO DB Chase Nixon
Former Cerritos College defensive back Chase Nixon announced his commitment to North Dakota State. Nixon will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Bison.
Nixon finished last season with 42 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one forced fumble, one interception, and seven pass breakups. He helped Cerritos College to back-to-back Western State Bowl wins and the first win over Long Beach City since 2011.
Nixon signed with Cerritos out of La Habra High School in 2021. He was a two-time second-team All-Freeway League selection. He is the younger brother of Green Bay Packers defensive Keisean Nixon.
Former CCU WR Rian Black Transfers To Rhode Island
Former Coastal Carolina wide receiver Rian Black announced his commitment to Rhode Island. He will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Rams.
Black redshirted last season after seeing action in only three games. He signed with the Chanticleers as a three-star wide receiver out of Rockledge High School. He was the No. 130 player in the state of Florida, according to On3 Sports.
Black finished his senior season with 587 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns. He averaged 26.3 yards per reception as a junior and was a second-team All-Space Coast selection.
