3-Star ATH Joseph Clark IV Commits To Northern Arizona
2024 athlete Joseph Clark IV announced his commitment to Northern Arizona. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound athlete is from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Clark is the No. 81 athlete and No. 30 player in the state of Arizona, according to the On3 Sports industry rankings. He earned first-team All-Region and All-State honors last season. He finished the year with 42 total tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, and two interceptions. Clark also totaled 348 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns.
Clark committed to the Lumberjacks over offers from San Diego State and Arizona. He projects to play a hybrid safety position for the Lumberjacks at the next level.
3-Star DB Brilan Reynolds Commits To Idaho
2024 defensive back Brilan Reynolds announced his commitment to Idaho. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound safety is from St. Mary’s High School in Stockton, California. He committed to the Vandals over offers from Cal Poly, Montana, and Northern Arizona.
Reynolds is the No. 164 safety and No. 249 player in the state of California, according to 247Sports. He has totaled 53 tackles, one tackle for loss, one interception, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble over the past two seasons.
Reynolds joins a talented 2024 recruiting class for the Vandals. Idaho already holds commitments from three-star cornerback Frankie Edwards III and three-star quarterback Holden Bea.
2024 All-State WR Joshua Williams Commits To Chattanooga
2024 wide receiver Joshua Williams announced his commitment to Chattanooga. The 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver is from Westside High School in Anderson, South Carolina.
Williams earned first-team All-State honors last season. He finished his junior season with 42 receptions for 883 receiving yards, 21.0 yards per reception, and 10 touchdowns. He also saw action on the defensive side of the ball and totaled 16 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one fumble recovery.
Williams committed to the Mocs over offers from Appalachian State, James Madison, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, and Army. He was also an All-Region selection in basketball after averaging 12.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.7 steals per game.
Tennessee Tech LB Ashton Taylor Transfers To Jackson State
Former Tennessee Tech linebacker Ashton Taylor announced his transfer to Jackson State. He will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Tigers.
Taylor saw action in four games last season for the Golden Eagles, recording three total tackles. The 6-foot-1, 197-pound linebacker signed with Tennessee Tech out of Hoover High School.
Taylor earned Starnes Media All-South Metro honors for the Buccaneers. He was named the Victor Hill Defensive Player of the Year after finishing his senior season with 13 tackles for loss. He joins a Jackson State linebacker core that aims to replace multiple starters from last season, including All-American Aubrey Miller Jr.
2024 All-State LB Drew Braam Commits To South Dakota State
2024 linebacker Drew Braam announced his commitment to South Dakota State. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker is from Oak Creek High School in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
Braam earned first-team All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State honors last season. He finished his junior year with 136 total tackles, six sacks, and 12 pass breakups. He was an intricate piece in Oak Creek winning the conference championship.
Braam committed to the Jackrabbits over offers and interest from multiple FBS programs. He is an integral piece for the Jacks 2024 class as All-American Adam Bock and three other significant contributors (Jason Freeman, Saiveon Williamson, & Isaiah Stalbird) are expected to graduate after the 2023 season.
