The 2023 FCS football is quickly approaching as the time for media days has finally arrived. The inaugural United Athletic Conference media day was held on July 14 in Arlington, Texas. The NCAA denied the UAC’s waiver request to be recognized as a single-sport FCS conference, but the UAC continued to move forward with the announcement of a new logo and name.
The UAC will consist of nine teams from the ASUN and WAC, with UT Rio Grande Valley becoming the league’s 10th team in 2025. The conference had nine representatives on the Bluebloods 2023 FCS Preseason All-American Team, led by three first-team selections from Central Arkansas.
