2024 CB Jordan Miller Commits To Furman
2024 cornerback Jordan Miller announced his commitment to Furman on Sunday. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound cornerback is from Arabia Mountain High School in Conyers, Georgia.
Miller finished his junior season with 20 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one interception, and 10 pass breakups. He earned first-team 4-5A All-Region honors and was named an All-State honorable mention as a defensive back. He also saw action at wide receiver and recorded 300 receiving yards and seven total touchdowns.
Miller earned first-team 6-4A All-Region honors as a sophomore in 2021. He joins an impressive 2024 class for the Paladins, headlined by quarterback Trey Hedden III and wide receiver Devin Hester Jr.
Utah RB Faysal Aden Transfers To UAlbany
Former Utah running back Faysal Aden announced his transfer to UAlbany. He will have two years of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Great Danes.
Aden spent four seasons with the Utes after joining the team as a walk-on prior to the 2019 season. He saw limited action on special teams during the 2021 season, totaling two tackles. The 5-foot-8, 208-pound running back is from West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Aden finished his senior season with 793 rushing yards, 233 receiving yards, and 11 total touchdowns. He had a career-high 144 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown against Timpanogos High School.
JUCO LB Marcellus Gaines Commits To Mississippi Valley State
Fullerton College linebacker Marcellus Gaines announced his commitment to Mississippi Valley State. He will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Delta Devils.
Gaines finished his sophomore season with 27 total tackles as he helped lead Fullerton to the SCFA championship game. He recorded 19 total tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss as a freshman for the Hornets.
Gaines signed with Towson out of Cass Tech High School in Detriot, Michigan. He earned Detriot All-City honors as a senior in 2018. He recorded 82 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and two sacks.
ULM LB Jackson Bailey Transfers To Prairie View A&M
Former Louisiana-Monroe linebacker Jackson Bailey announced his transfer to Prairie View A&M. He will have three years of eligibility remaining for the Panthers.
Bailey played one season with the Warhawks, seeing action in nine games. He finished the season with 14 total tackles and three quarterback hurries. Bailey recorded a career-high five total tackles against No. 5 Alabama. He transferred to ULM after redshirting his true freshman season at Arizona.
Bailey was a three-star prospect out of Red Oak High School in Texas. He was the No. 123 linebacker and No. 181 player in Texas in the class of 2021. He finished his senior season with 64 total tackles, four tackles for loss, two defensive touchdowns, and four interceptions. Bailey earned second-team 4-5A All-District honors.
