UT Martin Lands Former JSU WR Trevonte Rucker
Former Jackson State wide receiver Trevonte Rucker announced his commitment to UT Martin. Rucker will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Skyhawks.
Rucker finished third on the team in receiving yards as a true freshman in 2021. He finished the season with 26 receptions for 515 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and averaged 19.8 yards per catch. Last season Rucker only saw action in five games and finished the year with five receptions for 49 yards and one touchdown.
He signed with Jackson State as a four-star recruit out of Vanguard High School in 2021. Rucker was an Ocala Star-Banner first-team All-County selection in 2019. He earned first-team All-Country honors in 2018 as the starting quarterback after leading Vanguard to an undefeated regular season.
Former Wyoming RB Jordon Vaughn Commits To ACU
Former Wyoming running back Jordon Vaughn announced his commitment to Abilene Christian. He will have three years of eligibility remaining for the Wildcats.
Vaughn redshirted for the Cowboys in 2021 and saw action in one game during the 2022 season. He accounted for 67 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl against Ohio.
Vaughn signed with Wyoming as a three-star prospect out of Manvel High School. He totaled 1,077 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns over his final two seasons. He led Manvel to the 10th consecutive district championship in 2022.
Montana Tech CB Jordan Washington Transfers To SUU
Montana Tech cornerback Jordan Washington announced his commitment to Southern Utah. He will have one year of eligibility remaining for the Thunderbirds.
Washington earned first-team All-Conference honors last season. He finished the season with 46 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and nine pass breakups. He was an important piece of the Montana State secondary that allowed only 138.7 passing yards per game, which ranked No. 1 in the conference.
Former KSU WR Xavier Hill Transfers To SLU
Former Kennesaw State wide receiver Xavier Hill announced his commitment to Southeastern Louisiana. He will have three years of eligibility remaining for the Lions.
Hill played two seasons at Kennesaw State and saw action in 18 games for the Owls. He accounted for 20 receptions for 313 receiving yards, five receiving touchdowns, and averaged 15.7 yards per catch.
Hill signed with the Owls as a three-star prospect out of Pleasant Grove High School. He held multiple FBS offers including Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Southern Miss, and UAB. Over his final two seasons, Hill accounted for 77 receptions for 1,663 receiving yards, and 21 receiving touchdowns.
