Former Air Force CB Kevin Miniefield Jr. Transfers To NAU
Air Force cornerback Kevin Miniefield Jr. announced his commitment to Northern Arizona on Tuesday. Miniefield will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Lumberjacks.
Miniefield was a standout at Desert Ridge High School in Mesa, Arizona before signing with Air Force. He earned first-team 6A All-Region as a cornerback and punt returner as a senior. Miniefield finished his senior season with 34 total tackles, three interceptions and 13 pass breakups.

Former Cincinnati WR Marcus Peterson Commits To McNeese State
Cincinnati wide receiver Marcus Peterson announced his transfer to McNeese State on Tuesday. Peterson will have four years of eligibility remaining for the Cowboys.
Peterson redshirted last season for the Bearcats. He signed with Cincinnati as a three-star prospect and was ranked as a top-100 prospect in the state of Florida. Peterson finished his senior season with 1,128 yards of total offense and 17 total touchdowns.

Austin Peay DL Kwame Sutton Enters Transfer Portal
Austin Peay defensive lineman Kwame Sutton announced his entry into the transfer portal. Sutton is a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
Over five seasons with the Governors, Sutton totaled 117 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles. He earned Bluebloods second-team ASUN All-Conference honors this season. Sutton had a career day against Alabama A&M in 2022 with eight tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
Sutton has already received offers from Liberty, Georgia State, Ohio, Tarleton State and East Tennessee State.

Southern DL Ja’Sion Greathouse Enters Transfer Portal
Southern defensive lineman Ja’Sion Greathouse announced his entry into the transfer portal on Tuesday. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Greathouse signed with Southern out of Itasca Community College and saw limited action in 2022. He was named the NJCAA Defensive Player of the Year and earned first-team NJCAA Division III All-American honors in 2021. Greathouse finished the season with 55 total tackles, 20.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries and one defensive touchdown.
